Louisville Warehouse
Since the inception of the city, Louisville, Kentucky has been a logistical hub for the economically diverse region that spans 23 counties and two states. Three interstate highways help make Louisville a day's drive to two-thirds of the country.
The Louisville warehouse, our largest with 5,149,786 cu. ft, is a one story reinforced concrete and steel warehouse opened in 1977 with additional space added in August 1987. The warehouse uses an ammonia refrigeration system and is configured to accommodate a variety of products with different temperature needs ranging from -25°F to +55°F including the ability to blast freeze 160,000 lbs. per day. For protection of your product, this facility is fully racked with approximately 22,000 pallet positions. We track your product with computerized inventory control and EDI.
To accommodate and meet your shipping needs, we have a flexible 24 hour a day operation. Our dock is fully refrigerated with 22 truck doors, three rail doors, and a private railroad track with capacity for over 80 railcars. The track is also large enough to accommodate the jumbo cars. Louisville, Kentucky is the home to two major rail carriers, CSX and Norfolk & Southern. Our facility is one of the few warehouse locations served by both.
The safety and quality of your product is very important to us. We have received a superior rating from the American Sanitation Institute (ASI) for five consecutive years.
A USDA inspector is on site on a daily basis, and ADT provides 24 hour monitoring of the sprinkler, refrigeration, and burglar alarm systems.

From IH-71
IH-71 south to IH-65 south, IH-65 south to Exit 134 (Arthur Street). Follow Arthur St. to stop sign. At stop sign turn right on to Cardinal Blvd. Go 5 stop lights and turn left onto 4th St. Go down 4th St. 3 lights (right before the 3rd light you'll go under a RR overpass and yes, you will fit!) At 3rd light you'll turn right on to Industry Rd. Go down Industry for ½ mile - white warehouse on right - American Cold Storage written across the top in blue letters.
From IH-65 South
IH-65 South to Exit 134 (Arthur Street). Follow Arthur St. to stop sign. At stop sign turn right on to Cardinal Blvd. Go 5 stop lights and turn left on to 4th St. Go down 4th St. 3 lights (right before the 3rd light you'll go under a RR overpass and yes, you will fit!) At 3rd light you'll turn right on to Industry Rd. Go down Industry for ½ mile - white warehouse on right - American Cold Storage written across the top in blue letters.
From IH-65 North
IH-65 north to IH-264 west to Exit 9 (Taylor Blvd). Come down exit ramp, turn right, you'll be going north on Taylor Blvd. Go 7 lights (to help you watch for the 7th light - there'll be a Marathon Gas Station and a Dairy Queen at the 7th light) turn left on to Algonquin Pkwy. Come down Algonquin to 1st light and turn right on to 7th Street. Go one more block/next light and turn right on to Industry Rd. Go ½ block and we're on the left - white warehouse - come around front.
IH-64 East
IH-64 east to IH-264 east to Exit 9 (Taylor Blvd).
